USC coach Lane Kiffin found himself under intense fire from Trojans fans during the first half of the UCLA game on Saturday as the Trojans fell behind 24-0.

Kiffin was the subject of angry tweets and one poll had 83 percent of the respondents say he should be fired. Some of his play calls also angered fans, including an incomplete pass to reserve fullback Jahleel Pinner on fourth down in the first half.

Rough start

USC quarterback Matt Barkley endured one of his worst 15 minutes during the first quarter against UCLA.

Barkley completed 1 of 5 passes for 21 yards and was intercepted on his first pass of the game.

Barkley's two interceptions gave him 48 for his career, just one short of tying former quarterback Carson

Forgotten men

USC wide receivers Marqise Lee and Robert Woods each caught only two passes in the first half. USC's leading receiver at halftime was actually freshman Nelson Agholor, who caught a 33-yard touchdown pass in the second quarter.

Halftime downpour

The rain finally came down hard at halftime, forcing fans to don rain gear and ponchos. Although the USC band wore protective gear, the song girls only donned light jackets.

Unexpected play

Special teams are considered one of USC's strength but UCLA partially blocked a Kyle Negrete punt in the third quarter that set up a Bruin touchdown.
